Born on January 7, 1985. He received his professional education at the Penza Art College named after K.A. Savitsky and later graduated from the Moscow Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov.
Memberships and Awards:
- Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
- Member of the International Art Fund since 2010.
- In 2012, awarded the Gold Badge by the International Foundation "Cultural Heritage."
- In 2014, elected Academician of the European Academy of Natural Sciences (Hanover).
- Awarded the Gold Medal of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Mark Smirnov's works have been displayed in prestigious venues across Russia and abroad, including:
- The State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Kremlin Palace, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior;
